I was standing in front of my apartment door, because I heard a sound. It was a woman knocking on my neighbors door and she was yelling and chanting and laughing and very angry and loud. It went on for a while. At some point I was thinking about calling the police or my mother and tell her I was scared. In that exact moment I felt the woman come close though I didn't see her because it was dark. And suddenly I could see some black outline of a woman directly at my door. And now she was trying to get in. My door was locked though. But she yelled and slammed on my door. I was so scared that I woke up before anything else could happen. What does this mean?
Dreams about being scared or threatened often symbolize underlying fears or anxieties in your waking life that you may be suppressing or trying to ignore. Your dream indicates a sense of vulnerability and lack of security, which could represent feelings of insecurity or uncertainty in your personal or professional life.
The woman in your dream may symbolize a disruptive or negative influence that is causing chaos or distress, possibly reflecting a challenge or conflict you are facing. The fact that she is trying to get into your apartment could signify a fear of invasion of personal boundaries or a sense of being overwhelmed by external forces.
The imagery of darkness and the sense of being unable to see the woman clearly suggest hidden or unconscious aspects of yourself that you may be struggling to confront. The urge to call the police or your mother for help indicates a desire for protection or support during difficult times.
Overall, this dream may be urging you to address any fears or concerns you may have in your waking life and to seek help or guidance from trusted sources if needed. It could be a reminder to prioritize your own safety and well-being, and to take proactive steps to address any sources of stress or conflict in your life.
